We’d like to wish everyone a Happy New Year — and share some statistics and insights from our team.
In October, Protocol: Terminate launched its Steam page. In just over two months, the game has accumulated more than 15,000 wishlists. Is that a lot or a little? It’s not for us to judge, of course — but we’ve noticed a certain level of interest from the audience, and that’s encouraging.
Of course, we want the project to be successful; after all, it’s our brainchild, and we’ve been developing it for over six months. But we also hope that people will genuinely enjoy playing it — not just buy it and forget about it.
We’ve built a small, but engaged, audience: people who write to us, provide feedback, and help us understand what’s working and what isn’t. Recently, for example, we launched a survey that gives players automatic access to future playtests.
Right now, we’re actively preparing for the demo, so we don’t always have time to create polished GIFs. Unfortunately, we’ve had to put the new trailer on hold. But at this stage, it’s crucial that we focus all our energy on development, gathering player feedback, and refining our direction.
After the demo, there’s still a lot of work ahead: creating new locations, robots, perks, and other content we have planned — and we have a lot planned! 😊
Thank you for your support and feedback — and Happy New Year!
